[/img] Well I went back to the farms I worked last weekend found a big belt buckle 23 merc a 1902 v 4 wheat's and 2 Indians . Hunted the farm with the nice lady wasn't a gold mine but it was a good hunt still some area to hunt there but was getting to hot so I went to the other farm and nobody was home. So I was close to the fairgrounds and had about a hour left . Found half of a wristband with a fake diamond was going along and seen a quarter laying in the sand between two grass clumps nothing on top of it so I put it in my trash pocket and continued to hunt dug a couple clad quarters few wheat's 1 Indians and token. I get home and dump out my trash and hear that silver ring as the quarter bounced on the table . So I pick it up 61 quarter where did that come from I said then I remembered I picked it off the ground , this was a sandy area with not much grass I don't know if it got washed out with all the rain we have been getting or what but there was a good imprint where I picked it up big silver that's nice did not even have to dig lol . Hope you guys got out . sube

Well that was easy! Nice 1!

Good Hunt. I bet its hard to leave a site that's producing like that one is!

That's a good one Sube - I've gotten silver in change before and didn't notice it until I dumped my pocket onto a table and heard that sweet silver sound.

A couple of years ago I found an 1880-something Indian laying right on top of the ground at an old fairground - soil was very hard and sandy in this spot too - the coin was sun bleached light green and I'm sure I passed over it several times thinking it was a zincoln!
