Is there a prettier sight at the bottom of a hole than silver? I know, gold, but this will do just fine until gold comes along. These beautys were found yesterday while hunting with friends at a home that was built around 1897. The dates on the coins are 1941 and 1942. Also I found a 1941 nickel. Just think about the dates. Our country was at war, remember the attack on Pearl Harbor was in 1941. Metal detecting is all about history isn't it? To hold something in your hand that is a part of our history is thrilling to me, as I am sure it is to you. HH Dennis in Idaho[attachment 27216 babiesandoldhomes030.jpg]
