Silver! First significant search with new/used E-trac from this forums!

I purchased my new/used etrac from Jspeedy here on this site. (Great person to deal with). I bought this earlier this week and took it out to test it Tuesday for about 30 mins with some clad coin results. Today I was able to get out to a ball field for a couple hours and made these finds. The E-trac worked perfectly. I did the ground balance, picked a program and off I went. My first dig was a clad dime at 6". My second was the 1947 Washington at over 7". Picked up a bunch more clad and 3 Wheaties. Of course I dug some junk but not much compared to the coin ratio. I ran in manual sensitivity and was able to run higher than the suggested until I was close to some power lines then turned down the sensitivity and did a ground balance. The ground was still frozen in some places.
There is still much to learn to get the best performance from this machine but its going to be a fun learning curve!

Great start. When the coil goes over silver you'll know it. There will be a high "flutie" tone. Man, I miss that machine, what was I thinking :nopity:

Happy hunting!

Good job! Congrats on the Washington & the new/used :minelab:Etrac! I also bought my Etrac off this forum and I love it! :clapping:

Congratulations on all the finds, 'specially the silver! Thanks for the picture.
