Silver Eagle II

Cool Rod

New member
I have a White's Siver Eagle II that I bought new in 1993 from Kellyco. I can't find much information about it anywhere, and I was wondering how it is regarded. I see there is a Silver Eagle manual at the White's site, and an Eagle II manual, and Eagle SL manuals, but not a specific Silver Eagle II manual. I don't need the manual, I have one, but I'm trying to figure out the difference between these Eagle models.

I see a lot of references to one type of Eagle or another, but nothing about this particular model.

What does the Silver Eagle II do that makes it different?

Would you let me have your opinions about this model? I'm trying to decide whether or not to sell it or keep it as a second unit. I just bought a Minelab Excalibur for use underwater.

I paid over $800 for it in 1993. What could I ask for it today?

Thanks in advance.

I had a silver eagle back then... it was one model below the spectrum... But I can't honestly recall a silver eagle II.. HMMMM

I'd like to see a pic. HH Mark ( ohio )

Never heard of the Silver Eagle II but I had a Silver Eagle and it ROCKED!

Basically, it was marketed as a digital 6000 DI Pro (my terminology). As far as the SL series went it was an awesome machine. I loved it but had to move on. I think the main difference is the software. Good luck.

Mark you're a genius!!

I pulled it out of the storage case and it is a Silver Eagle, without the II. Don't know why I didn't know that.

Cheers
