Silver dry spell over

Larry (IL)

Well-known member
I think I have set some kind of personal record even though I don't keep track of that kind of information. In the last several hunts I have found 39 Wheat cents and 6 Indian heads without a silver coin find. The silver Gods must have thought that I have suffered enough because this afternoon I got a trifecta in a place that I would have bet was "worked out". Every dime had at least one nail in the hole with it........ gotta love the CTX.........

Nice Larry! Like you I don't keep track. But, that doesn't mean I don't notice when I am not finding silver or large cents

Larry,
Congrats. on the Seated Liberty Half Dime! I found my first recently and am still overwhelmed

Well, if you're going to break a dry spell, just as well do it in style! And a silver dime trifecta certainly qualifies for that. All silver is nice....but I love the seated ladies! Congrats on the recoveries. HH Randy

It's just a regular seated dime Chuck, I agree though that half dimes are rare and memorable finds.

Very sweet looking seated! Congratulations!

It's a '53 huh? Don't look like any '53 I ever found.
All my '53s got some dude named Roosevelt on them so I think you might be mistaken LOL.
Nice job!
Still waiting for one!

Very sexy looking trio Larry - glad you broke out of that dry spell!

Daaaaaaaaang!

The silver Rosie is nice, but, the Merc and the seated are much prettier coins, to me. Very nice finds!!

You've been trifectorized!

Those sure are pretty! congrats!

Love that Seated dime Larry. They have a special place in my heart LOL
