Silver disc

Hi all, I found this silver disc at a high school track and field arena. It gave a dollar signal on the detector and I dug down 8" to recover it. I thought it was a silver dollar at first and I was disappointed to find that it wasn't. It came out of the ground with no tarnish just as it shows in the photo. I gave it a magnet test and it would not stick. I don't have a clue as to what it is, but I wish it was a silver dollar. Thanks for looking and HH Dennis in Idaho

Dose it have any weight to it? Maybe magnesium or aluminum alloy of some sort.

Glad you're getting out and doing some detecting. Let us know if you figure out what that is. Very interesting. Too bad it wasn't a silver dollar. HH, Nancy
