silver disc

I found this silver disc at a high school track and field arena. My MXT indicated a dollar target. I dug it from 8" of hard soil. It appears as bright as when it was dug, no tarnish. At first I thought it was a silver dollar, but upon closer inspection it is larger than a silver dollar but it has a color like that of silver. It is heavier than a silver dollar. I checked it with a magnet and it would not stick. Anyone have an idea as to what it is? Thanks Dennis in Idaho

When I was a kid I had a silver dollar that was only struck on one side. Two blanks got in the stamp & each received 1/2 of the image.
Your coin or what was maybe be a coin. Looks like a Stamp-test that really smashed it. 2nd choice- a Commemorative-Coin Blank. I would most certainly have a coin shop look at it , The reed/size and weight could narrow it down, by someone who knew what they were doing. GOOD-LUCK!

IT REALLY LOOKS LIKE AN UNSTAMPED US TRADE DOLLAR PLANCHET. THE TRADE DOLLAR IS A BIT BIGGER AND IT LOOKS ABOUT THE SIZE NEXT TO THE MORGAN DOLLAR...
