Silver day

My understanding is that, if it is not marked with 'Plat' or Pt, then it is not platinum. I found one other ring marked 950 but I think it is silver too. Silver that is marked 950 is sometimes called "Mexican Silver", which is 95% silver and 5% copper Other silver alloys (European) are 87.5% and 83%. Brazil uses an 80% alloy which supposedly does not tarnish. And then there is Sterling silver, 92.5% silver and the rest is usually copper. German silver contains no silver. It is a mixture of copper, zinc and nickel.

I am not sure I recovered all of the bracelet(I did sweep all around the area), as there was no clasp. The dolphins are not amrked but I feel pretty safe saying that it is 925.

If so, where on the meter does that ring come in? High, like a quarter or 925 ring, or low, like a gold ring? If it comes in high, it's silver, but if it's low, it's platinum.
