Wishful-thinker

I went to the old fish farm today and the owner was there and gave me permission to hunt.
Its about 2 acres so I started one corner, and thats about it because the bugs got bad.
I found out that in the late 60s/70s the place was a boys home with an office main house,
6 cabins, rec. hall ,and cafeteria and none is left just clear land.
its hard to hunt...TRASH Ill have to get the 4'' coil.
well nuf said enjoy.

Cool finds. I think maybe the glass whatsits maybe part of an old bracelet. I vaguely remember my Grandmother having one with parts that looked real similar to your finds. Keep us posted on what else you find.

that's a nice little pile of coins and relics, wishful thinker. and silver too, it's been a good day for you. wtg! hh,

Looks kinda like a snail shell. the pin is broken off the back, but it does say sterling.
The LandStar sang out when it crossed over it.It was about 3" down where they had cut about 3"
inches off the ground with a buldozer moving trees after Katrina.I even found one of the nickles
had a pull tab 1" above it...was getting a nickle signal followed quickly by pull tab,but the nickle
was always repeatable from any direction. the coins go from 64-95. I dug up everything from
canslaw to a an old rollerskate.

Thanks once again for reinforcement that keeps us going :detecting:
