Silver birthday surprise...

Johnny Cache

New member
I went out yesterday and found some things I have yet to clean up. I think the yard I was in was pounded, but I managed a 1919 wheat, and a reeally old Canadian military or Mountie button.

Today however, I got permission to do a yard not far from home. I wound up with a handful of coins, some wheats and some 50's and 60's Canadian coins. It was time for me to get home to read the little one bedtime stories, and as I was leaving I got a nice signal 4 inches deep. My first Mercury dime for the season! Today is my 36th birthday, and that dime was a cool present! I still have 2/3rds of that yard to detect, so hopefully there is more to come...

She's a beauty! I think I got a horseshoe for my birthday

Crazy...my wife checked her facebook a few minutes ago, and a friend of ours down the street posted "Say happy birthday to Mike, I hope he finds an old coin for his birthday!".

Thanks guys, it is in great shape. Mercury dimes are such a pretty coin...

Happy B-Day Johnny, Silver Birthday!!!!!!!! Mickfin

Happy birthday! I have yet to find one of those. I need to start asking permission for those lawns. She's well preserved! Good job on asking for permission.

Happy Birthday !
Nice minty Merc. Congrats !

Happy Birthday to ya. Why is it the last dig on the way home usually puts up the best item. It's happened to me too many times to be a coincidence.

Happy birthday! Mine's today and my treat is to MD all day (or as long as my back holds out). Nice coin!
