Silver belgian franc?

I was at a park I decided to hit so my first shot was in a tot lot in the chips My first hit i got a 1951 belgian 1 franc coin along with a garden state parkway token and some clad. But my question is about the belgian franc Is it silver? Being from 1951 I was thinking so but i'm not sure.
