Went out today and hit this 38s Merc dime at 3 in about 2 ft from that I hit this Cool Tootsie Toy Deputy Sheriff's badge 1950s/60s and a tax token. Later on I hit the whats it it is round it fits over my pinky finger and has a rivet it says WPIA H48 then a serial number 87986 ended up with 2 more tokens and called it a day just as the storm came in. Happy hunting to All

Wonderful finds. I don't know what your round bands are. But I have found some from the 30's locally. And here they were clipped off when a school was being renovated. I guessed or associated them with the over head power lines or circuit boxes owned by the city, as it had the town name etc. stamped into them, and they were below a circuit box. That's my only vague association that comes to mind. I don't know for sure.

Great hunt, Stryker! Love the tootsie badge, I want one. Mercs and tokens are always happy dance material, too!

Nice finds. I believe that band with numbers came off a turkey or chicken. Nice finds! I really like that badge by the way!
