got out a little today found 64 rosie and this heart that says pressure treated and penta on it any ideas thanks bryan

Congrats on the rosie. The heart is probably from a pressure treated post. Penta is used to treat wood. The GW or CW would be the manufacturer.

Congrats on the silver dime Bryan. The tag is a cool find also. Hey Dave, I would have never guessed that was from a post, but by George, I think you're right. COOL! HH to all, Nancy

Hey Nancy, I think I can see two holes in the tag, one in front of the P in Penta and another on the very end of the W. That is from the staple that held it on to the end of the post. It is alot fancier than others I have seen, most are simple rectangles or squares. To keep costs down, lumber nowadays has a paper tag stapled to it or a sticker.
