Silver and more…..

Hunted an old site with 5 friends today. My goal was one Indian and one silver. I hunted a pounded trashy spot and was able to get 4 wheats and the first Indian of the year. We took a lunch break then went back at it. I got a token, the usual clad, a kids ring, pendant, and several misc items. I was determined to get a silver. I was headed to the truck and only 12 paces from the truck I got a 1917 merc! I turned off the machine and said "Now I can go home!" Great day with great friends.

On another site in these forums just a couple of days ago we were talking about how often the best finds are often as " was on the way back to the truck" it happens far to often to be coincidence!
