Silver and Gold

Made it out for a couple of hunts this past week with the CoRe and it was in the mood to find some jewelry. I love the simplicity and performance of the FoRes CoRe. More time detecting and less time messing around with the settings as with some other machines.

My first good score of the week came on Halloween about an hour before dark in a local modern park....

A gold and diamond pendant. It was instantly claimed by my wife! Which is O.K. because, " A happy wife is a happy life"! She wouldn't even take it off for the photo.:cheekkiss:

The second hunt of the week was at a old stone cottage in the woods absolutely littered with shell casings and bullets but the Nokta was able to find this in all of the trash....

Men's silver ring.

Later that same day I hunted a yard with my daughter and found these...

A 1942 "war nickel" and a wheat cent.

My daughter hunted with my X-Terra 70 using the 6" - 3 kHz coil whilst I was the designated "digger" of her targets. She scored three wheaties and a small gold cameo broach along with a bunch of clad (no pic). While I was the designated digger, my son in law used the Nokta and found around 20 clad. Fun day!

Awesome Dean! This machine is a real winner for sure! I have been finding in my yard or the edge of the wood line scores of pennies and some coppers!

I have a old home site I will be hunting here in the near future with the Fors and I hope to be as successful as you!

Nice finds, if I can get rid of a couple of the detectors I currently have I just might have to give the Impact a try when it comes out.

Thanks!
Yep, the CoRe is a great machine for sure. I can't wait to see what the Impact has to offer!
