I hit the local school and local park for a little this past weekend. The ground is hard and we could use a little rain in upstate NY right now. The 1957 dime was from a new spot a started detecting on Sunday. I also found 5 Wheaties from 1936-1944. The funny thing is that I found no clad, this leaves me to believe this spot has been hunted close to dry. I have an advantage using the V3. The dime and Wheaties were found 5-6 inch's down using the 5.3 coil on the Coin stock settings.
Now the Ring, I has having a slow day at the local school that I've been hunting all year, and after a few hours of a few Wheaties and about $5.00 in clad I decided to head back to the car. I think it was FERDWARE that said keep swinging on the way back to the car. Well it paid off, I have my first wedding band of the year. The thing is pretty big, I can put my wedding band through the one that I found. That's 3 ring in the past 3 weeks, 2 gold and 1 silver. Thanks Ferdware for the advice. Ron in Henrietta NY
