Here are a couple of my finds from this past week. Went to an old house to hunt it, only to find it had been torn down. Went slow and picked through the trash and got a few rewards. The big Nitro is 14K HGE (Heavy Gold Electroplate), but still a good looking ring. The toy car, knife, and countless pieces of trash were taken from the bulldozed yard. It was easily the trashiest place that I have ever detected but worth it. Two nights I went back to the torn down house and found the two mercs, the '17 is the slickest that I have found. I also got about a dozen wheat pennies at this spot as well. Today I was off work early and decided to take my 2 1/2 year old daughter for a quick detect at a park on the way to visit grandpa and grandma. She had a lot of fun taking the coins out of the ground and was quite the helper. I found a total of about 13, but only 3 made it back to car in her little purse (no keepers lolol). After about 45 minutes she told me it was time to go, and just like I tell my wife I said "OK, just one more coin". A few swings and I got a solid hit bouncing 18-20-22 with a large box at 2 inches. I though for sure a nickel would get me packing and was super surprised when out popped the mens 14K gold wedding band. What a hunt with my little gal , didn't even care she lost the coins!
