On the 10k gold ring, I'm guessing by the size of it that it probably read as a can tab. Correct? If so, were you also digging the trash signals, besides the coins, or did the ring just happen to be next to a coin you were digging?

Very nice 10K ring and very nice silver! Congrats on some great finds!!

looks exactly like the ring my daughter got for me several years ago, nice find ..
some dad is going nuts over the loss right now, i know i would be ...
may only be 10k but its worth a million to dad ...

I have been digging all pull tabs and low VDI numbers 9-29 especially. But I also dig up through 93 although 93 is usually old iron like a square nail. But if I get an iffy signal bouncing around from say, 71-93 I dig it anyway. Deep signals always get my lesche out of the holster. I tried to remember what the signal was, but all I can recall was it was bouncing around in numbers, maybe 24-34. It has a break in it so that's probably why I got such a mixed signal. I remember I had trouble pinpointing it. Happy hunting!

I guess they call the 5 cent Canadian a "Fishy". evidently for it's small fish scale size, it's smaller than an American dime. But is .925 sterling silver that year. Cool, my first Fishy.
