hi all have not posted much lately been real busy, went to a little park today owned by the catholic church having a good time until there head pastor showed up and asked me to leave said i did not have permission to be there so i asked him who i needed to ask he said that was him so i said no problem ill leave. then headed over to a city park within ten minutes got a nice big silver ring so in a round about way that pastor did me a favor the other rings and two silver coins is all the good things ive found in the last two months, not sure what the brass thing is any ideas happy trails

You havn't really lived until you get thrown off Church Property...you should have told him you had permission from a higher authority! Great! That happened to me last year too!
Those are great finds, EZ...hitting some gold this year eh?

sometimes telling the priest you will give them any church artifacts you find will secure permission.
it does work,i can attest to that, however not all the time!..just sayin'

It's great that you found some nice stuff in a public park but what bothers me is that you were hunting on private property without permission (and seemed somewhat proud about it) ........

How would you like it if someone came in YOUR yard and start digging holes without asking? (assuming you are a property owner) You are fairly new on here but asking permission to hunt on private property is considered mandatory and essential for the future of our hobby. It is bad enough that we get asked to leave on public property but getting kicked off of private property for hunting without permission is inexcusable.

Its a good thing this forum is here to teach us something! No telling what kind of mischief I'd a wound up in if I hadn't found this site last year!. I Did think it was funny though! You'd think a Priest would at least be happy somebody is showing up on a week day, and not for a funeral! It was a perfect chance for him to try to convert poor old EZ with the "Seek ye not the treasures of Earth" line...Thanks for the gentle reminder that our posts are read by noobs...listen up! Dont go digging around on private property without permission, or you'll ruin it for the rest of us that do! its tough being part pirate, part ambassador and good guy!
