I returned to the spot that I found the 2 Mercs from my last post and was rewarded with two good finds. The first was a 1909 Barber Quarter and the second was a 1903-O Barber dime. I also found 5 wheats the oldest was 1911 and 2 bells that still ring. You will have to watch the video if you want to see my new friend.

Im sorry to say this was the last hunt for the Vision/V3. I boxed it up and sent it in for the V3i update. I will be too busy for hunting the next few weeks, so I figured why not. I have more than enough clad to cover the $125 charge.

Great finds & Video

Nice Finds!

I'm curious what happened to your little friend. It sure looked like it wanted to adopt you as it's mama.

I'm a sucker for the little pigeons falling out of their nests at the beach under the pier. Unless they're rescued they become seagull chow. So far I've rescued and placed (in good homes) about a dozen young pigeons.

Regards, Joe

Awesome - loved your video and new friend - I hope that little fella's mom turned up. Congrats on your finds :)

The maintence guy showed up to mow the lawn and I talked to him for awhile about my hunt and the woodchuck. He picked it up and put it in a box so he would not hit it with the mower. I had to leave shortly after that so Im not sure what he did with it after I left. He seemed like a good guy and concerned for its safety so Im sure he let it go after he was done with his work.
