Silver and a little gold, about time!!!

Went to the river today for 3 hrs. Found 2 1/2 pairs of sunglasses, an Umbrella and a air pump, a knife and clad. Chased a small piece of gold 10 yards down the river it fell Thur the scoop a couple times, at first I thought it was a lead shot, but it had a little different sound in the signal. it turned out to be 9K with a glass chip in it. Then I got a .925 ring later in the day. All in all a good day.

The silver was black had to use electrolysis on it for a couple of minutes. The earring cleaned up with less work.

Try hangin a little baited hook on a leader from the coil support and let it follow the coil back and forth!

Nice pics. I loved FL when I lived there - wish I was into detecting back then.

The pump had part of a set of sunglasses tangled in the shirt that was tied to it. I could have broken them as I pulled it all out of the sand. I suspect the signal was from the sunglasses.

This place is close to the head springs for the river, millions of gallons of water a day pass thru and allot of sand movement. Thanks for sharing.

Nice finds Joe, would you believe it..I have an earring that looks just like that one.
