Silver 3 cent ?

Does anybody know what the id number is on a silver 3 cent and a half dime?
My EX II sounds and reads like a penny when I have found half dimes. I have yet to find either of the above with X-70.

I found a silver half dime several months back. Was using X-Terra-70 with the 10.5 DD 7.5KHz coil and got a solid 34 at 9". Found a 3 cent piece back in the 70's with a Metrotech...and of course there was nothing but a beep:rofl:

Thanks for the reminder that I need to update the coin chart! :cool: The 3-cent silver that I found this summer read a 24 on my X-70. (using the 6-inch DD coil). I've not found a half dime.........yet. HH Randy
