Today I took my MXT with my new 10"DD Excelerator Coil attached and went to a school sports field. I really enjoy swinging the 10" coil. It is well balanced and light, compared to some other coils. I only hunted for an hour or so and picked up a couple of junk jewelery items and the usual clad which included a nice bunch of nickels with one being a 1945 S War Nickel. It was a nice surprise. It was down about 5 inches and had a VDI of 22. Thanks for looking. HH Dennis in Idaho

Hey Dennis,WTG, I've gotten from 1940 thru 43, but no (S) so far. Keep it coming man. HH I've got an 8" EX DD that I hunt with down here most of the time and it's a real nickel grabber.:)

Silver war nickels run from 1942 thru 1945. They sure are a joy to find. HH Dennis in Idaho

You know I like to see those nickels and then that beautiful silver nickel. WOW! You sure know how to make a girl smile. Thanks and HH, Nancy

Nice nickel Dennis, I knew you would like the coil. I haven't got a war nickel in quite some time. Rob
