Silly question.

Just a quick story. While at the beach, my daughter lost her lucky rock. It was a brownish colored stone with a cream colored heart in the middle of it which her grandpa polished and gave her a few years back. She always carried with her. After about an hour of searching, we determined it was gone. This got me to thinking. Is there any type of detector/device that can find a non metallic item in sand?

Please accept my apologizes if this is not a question to be asked here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,
Kingfish

Don't forget like I said previously John. I'm a bus driver. I've seen it all. And even more than I saw while in the military. Nothing surprises me any more. EXCEPT WHILE OUT WITH MY DETECTOR!!! Every time I get a ding I'm surprised to find something that a person lost. Why did they loose it? I DON'T CARE. I FOUND IT!!
