Silent mode Question

Badfrog

New member
HEllo,

I'm a begginner with a XLT and would like to know if it's possible to put the detector in Silent mode even if I'm in a preset programm ?

THanks

TL

yes it is ,select "on" from basic adjustments, audio disc. needs to be "on",mixed mode needs to be "off "
you should get the manual if you don't have one,its good to have for referencing all the functions of the machine, actually it's pretty much a must have, especially for a beginner. good luck HH

there are links on some of the other forums at the top that say manuals, these could be of help if you do not have one

Just my opinion, but if you are a beginner at detecting, you should not really be in the silent mode. I was taught and always use tone because it allows for your ears to detect slight variations in the threshold that may signal deeper finds. I have found things that I would have passed up if not for listening to changes in the threshold tone.

Previous posts are correct that you can go to silent mode in a preset program.
