Would like someone to define, what a good small chirp is when detecting.

Thanks

Thats going to be a very very difficult question to answer. Every machine has its unique capabilities in tone response. Some can be modulated, some can make it longer, some are factory set, some can be adjusted as to tone. You also have sweep speed, recovery, threshold which could be set to high... and on and on. Your best bet is to get with someone who has your equipment to ensure its set properly.... then compare targets. All this doesnt even consider your hearing.

A solid BEEP(Chirp as you call it) loud and sharp and clear not broken up in any manner IMHO at least on my X2

Do you understand the irony of your question? To describe a "chirp" (which is an audible sound, mind you), in printed text ....... is impossible. It would be like saying "please describe the sound of C-minor, in printed text for me". It can't be done. It has to be heard. There's no other way. I mean, what do we say?: it sounds like this: "beep beep"?

Get on youtube, and maybe people have put up videos of your particular machine, with audio captured.

Using my E-Trac's discrimination pattern, I will get a signal chirp when the target falls on
the edge of iron discrimination.

there must be 100s of possible variations depending on the machine ,the T2 SE has a lot of variations to get to know for each item you could find .

Thank you all for your comments i do understand it was a hard thing to put into words, but for what its worth i did get something from your posts.
For all who share my faith i say keep looking up and blessing to all .
