In your post you mention 2 new coils for the 70...does that mean for the 70 only and not the 50? thanks

From a marketing standpoint, it would be in Minelab's best interest to develop the smaller coil in the 7.5 kHz configuration. That would allow it to be used on any of the three X-Terra models. Releasing an 18.75 kHz coil that will only work with the X-50 and the X-70, OR a 3 kHz that only works with the X-70 would not make their customer base very happy. Having used all three frequencies, I like the 7.5 best for coinshooting anyway! JMHO Randy

Think it will be.

If Vegas is talking about two coils, one could be the new 10.5 round DD at 7.5khz that they have in UK. ( is it released in US yet )

The other one must be a small 7.5 khz ?????

No Sir Mr. bfodnes........I was just fishing, and hoping for some info myself.........I hope they come out with a small coil in M,and H freq.....Maybe a round small in one,and a 3X6 inch in the other.
But right now.......ANY frequency coil in a 5"-6" WILL be well received I would bet......And as Digger has said......Thier first small one if made in M= 7.5 k.....would please the mOST Customers I BET.
