Found a good Shovel but has no serrations. Should I hold out for the serrations are not worry about them. It is a Lesch.
 
If you hunt in wooded areas a lot, the serrations come in handy but not necessary if you keep your edge sharp. If you have a hand grinder with a cutting blade, you can add your own serrations.
 
The serrations are better to have than to find yourself wishing you had then to get to your target in the roots. I use the predator raven model 25 and the Sampson. That little Sampson stays in my trunk full time do I'm never without it should the need arise.
