as these are water finds with the 1270 but I wanted to show you guys this Scrooge McDuck pendant. I think I have the record for most fake diamonds on one find.
Also got 2 silver rings, a silver toe ring and the the 10K chain. The chain is one of the smallest I have found, but the 1270 sang out nicely on it. Put the earring backs in to show that you don't need to run at a zillion Hz to get the small stuf when you are using the right Fisher.

You wet your pants when you saw that thing!:surprised: It's tough to tell in the water though! Those earing backs are quite the pain in the butt when you are chin deep in water and they keep falling through the scoop:ranting: I really have the itch to hit the water, and you aren't helping me any! I was going to post some Buffalo nickels I found last week and say I found them without a CZ3D, but why stir the pot? Nice finds and congrats on the gold! :please:

CZ, 3D or otherwise! I waded with one for a couple years before I got wise and started using the 1270 for my fresh water hunting. I often wonder now how many of those soft iron hits were stuff like this little chain or even deep rings that would not bounce up to foil. No More! The 1270 won't always tell you if its ferrous or non-ferrous on the weak signals but it only take a sec to fan the bottom for a better read. A whole heck of a lot easier than having to check out a zillion soft "iron" hits.
