Should I take my stock 6 x 9 coil with me for the Ace 250 ?

I have recently been going to a place on the beach where there is legal drinking on the beach. As a result there are a lot of bottle caps in the sand. Lots of them from last year as well but they are deep. The problem is that I have been using a 10 x 14" DD excelerator coil at this spot and every bottle cap reads like a quarter. I am digging 40 - 60 bottle caps in a 2-3 hour period every time that I go. My question.

Does anyone believe that the stock 6 x 9" coil would serve me better in this situation so as to be able to better determine if an item is a bottle cap or something worth digging ?

I do not believe that I would need to search deep as the area in question is gone over 4-8 times daily. The area is only approximately 70' x 50' or so but I truly need to be completed with the area quickly because of so many people converging on the area by sun up, hence the reason why I have been using the bigger coil there.

The DD allows me to search more area faster but if the 6 x 9" will help me not to dig so much it might be better for me to use it. Normally I would be in this area for about 3 hours. Sometimes I don't have that much time in my day but I don't want to miss anything. Tomorrow is especially a crunch day. I only have 90 minutes to search and no time to experiment at all. Today is St Patrick's day so everyone is going to be drinking there tonight. I have trusted most advice from here that I have gotten and it has served me well. Any advice now would be appreciated.

If the area you hunt is loaded with bottlecaps then you should be using your concentric unless you just enjoy digging caps. I have stated many times, and also in my field test at Lost Treasure, that DD's do dearly love bottlecaps and there is no way around this problem.
