Should I return it again?

3 days ago I took my AT Pro for a test in the FREEZING waters of the Turon river. I only placed the control box about 6 inches under the water for a maximum time of about 2 minutes.
Yesterday I noticed there was condensation ([sub]2 x 1 iches in size[/sub]) under the display screen. The detector still worked perfectly though.
Last time I sent the AT Pro back to the States, I was without it for over a month. ([sub]NOT GARRETTS FAULT [sub]- due to postage time from Aust to the US[/sub].)
I hope that by leaving the Pro in the sun for a while, that the condensation will dissappear.
What are the thoughts in general - send it back again or leave it & hope.

Provided your AT Pro keeps working fine and the condensation does not adversely affect operations, You have to ask yourself how much do you plan to use the detector below water? If you can get by with using it in water with the control box above the water level then I'd say keep it and use it until you get to the heat of your summer or whenever the weather forces you to take a break from detecting. At that time go ahead and send it back to Garrett, when you are not going to lose out on detecting time. Good luck.

Same thing happened to me but the next weekend when I put it in the water again (about 6 inches under the surface) it got worse and it quit working. Mailedmit out to Garrett today. I say if it keeps working use it!!

The way I look at it is if Garrett advertises the machine as an all terrain detector capable of under water detecting then it better be.
If not they better fix it. They can`t fix it if you don`t send it in.
