I guess Minelab expects you to have 1/2 a brain as a prerequesite to using their detectors .....???????........I think a Compadre would be a challenge for these guys !!.....Jim
Maybe if you SPOKE english in the video. Oh yeah... I did understand the sounds of disgust and the destruction....but still no answer to my question. Chill out and read the instructions a few times. What a waste of a detector.
That was probably a Xterra 30 judging by the rod color. Rendered obsolete after only a couple of years on the market by typical minelab marketing. Probably couldn't get the POS repaired after it died and decided to have some adolescent fun.
I never liked the Xterras. Tried real hard, too (owned three Xterra 70's, 2 Xterra 50's and one Xterra 305) but just never hit it off with them. They didn't like my ground.
The Xterra's should have been a Garrett design anyway. At least it would have worked better.
