shotgun shells

Anyone have any ideas why this shotgun shell Discs-out right above iron? It is the Western New Chief 10 gauge. Shouldn't brass or copper DISC above aluminium? Are these made with something else?

Thx,
Andy from Hillsborough (a.k.a. Homebre)

I have had a few like that , must be a crapy alloy,

I have found lots of shotgun shells with the Vaq. They are unpredictable discing out at a wide range , but have a nice sound to them.

I noticed on my compadre that some would disc out above iron and others would not disc out until up past zinc .
