Shortest Hunt Ever

What is the shortest hunt you have ever had? What did you find? My shortest hunt was today. I had a few minutes before going into work. Seven to be exact. Yeah kind of pointless to even try to get in some detecting. I don't get to go out very often. Between kids, work and other responsibilities time is limited. Wouldn't trade time with family for anything, work is another story. Don't mind work, just would rather be detecting, but glad to have a job. In my 7 minutes today I found 37 cents, almost a full circle. Just needed a nickel, a half dollar and a dollar coin. I found a quarter, dime, and 3 pennies. Maybe I can make it happen in my next under ten minute hunt minus the half dollar, because those seem impossible to find. I have found more dollar coins than half dollars, found 3 half dollars since I started detecting less than 2 years ago. It was a fun time today, but left me wishing for more time. Hope everyone is finding plenty of time to hunt and having fun. HH and good Luck.

37 cents in seven minutes? That's right around 5 cents per minute!! Multiply that by a 480 minute workday... Hmmm. That's $24.00. Not enough to quit your job, but that's a heck of a great day metal detecting!!

I found 1 quarter, 2 dimes, and one penny, plus a 1951 wheatie in an hour and 45 minutes this afternoon... Not so good.

Look at it this way ,any hunt is better than no hunt.I want to go out but weather is in high 80's and 90's this week.YUCK ! way to hot for this body.

I had about ten minutes before work yesterday so I hit a totlot and ended up with a zinc penny and about 3 fist size chunks of old aluminum playground equipment. I always find these same sharp chunks with blue paint on them at this spot. Just doing my duty to make the playgrounds safer :)
