Hit an old farm for one hour....... got rained out. Yeah we need rain bad so I didn't complain a bit. I found 10 wheats , had a spill with 5 in one hole and one was a steel cent, it is at bottom right. Only got one lone silver merc.....By the time I got home it quit raining, go figure. Can't wait for fields to open up!

Very well done for just an hour hunt! Congratulations on the finds Terry and thanks for the pictures.

I would have to almost garantee if you get a wheat spill and ONE of them is a rusted disk the SAME diameter then it is a 1943 steel wheat cent.

Great hunt for only an hour. I found a steelie in the hole with copper wheatie last year. It was corroded about like yours.

At least you are getting out. I won't get to hunt until October 5th due to a maintenance outage where I am working. Working nights until the 4th.

it was nice to finally get out hunting with you its been way to dry and way to long, Well congrats on the wheat's and merc bro :twodetecting:
