Had a steady drizzle over night, so figured it would be better to dig in the woods rather then the open turf for neatness purposes. As is par for the course in this set of woods, not a lot of targets to dig, but often a good relic and or, an old coin or two will show up and a couple did this morning.
Didn't know what I had until I got home and gave the targets a rinsing. As a result, was pleased to see the 1906 I H cent and the 1911 V nickel among the few coins I had recovered. Knew I had some older lead, and such is always a pleasing recovery. Of course, there are always some curios, besides the usual tabs and bottle caps that also get dug.
