Short hunt

Took the opportunity tonight after work to experiment more with the Aztec. Disc mode is being a challenge but the more I practice the easier it seems to get tuned on the fly. I live in an old school building built about 1920 so I know that there has to be some interesting things on the grounds, but I swear that whoever mows the grass runs over complete cans, I pulled a couple out of the ground tonight about 2 - 3 inches down, I've got a pretty good bead on what they sound like now. Best find of the night was a 1967 Washington quarter, I found right after getting most of the can-slaw Disc'd out. However my best bet may be just to hunt in normal all metal mode and dig everything to get alot of the trash removed (last night I found a 12" tent stake on its side 1 inch under the grass). I'm afraid to run the disc too high because I'm afraid I'm missing good targets. Still having a blast with it though. If anyone has ever used one of these any and all help will be appreciated.

Sounds to me you are doing just fine.

Resist the temtation to turn up the disc.

I hate it when they chew up those aluminum

cans.

But it may hide things we would like to find.

I always dig the trash at a site to find out what

it is. Then I know what to dig and not dig.

But I always check it out before I quit digging it.

Different sites can make targets sound a little different.

Pluss that way, it's fresh on my mind.

Sometimes you have to dig out the top trash to get

to the goodies below.

Few people have the patients fou this type of hunting.

But, remember confidence and persistance pays off.
