Was on my way to pick my daughter up at the airport... I got a text that her flight was delayed an hour...well since I'm in an area I don't know.. what do I do for an hour???? well always prepared, I had my trusty E-trac with me. I found an empty lot with trees next to a very sketchy convenience store... houses in the neighborhood appeared to be early 1900's mill houses so I gave it a go...this is what I managed in 45 minutes... the merc and wheat were in the sidewalk strip...the merc is my 17th this year, and makes for 30 silvers FTY. the Canadian cent is not old, but only the second one i have found here in SC. I may have to go back to that lot and complete my mission! oh, I only found one un-capped needle today... the empty lot was covered in litter...people are slobs.

funny... I thought with this post I would get more interest in the I pod thing I pulled out at 4" who would have thought a by chance hunt would lead to a key date coin... not me....

not my first key date.. about 7 years ago while in NY I hunted a friends property and found this.... he kept it of course...
