Been trying for sometime to get permission at an 1800's church. Finally someone was there when I drove by. Permission was granted by the caretaker, but he told me he had hunted it out! Sounds like a challenge to me! :) He watched as I dug a gold plated clip on ear ring, then a 1902 "V" nickel, then some wheats. After he left I got a 1901 indian head and then 2 more wheats! I will be going back! :)

a lot younger and could have a Minelab Detector as they really get the goodies after learning how to use it as a professional detectorist!

God Bless & Good Luck in finding some more at the old church yard! Never hunted out with you a digging! :D

takes experience, learning and knowing your detector, and finding the older places to hunt! Don't be afraid to ask and ye shall receive!

God Bless & Good Luck in getting out and detecting and sooner or later you will find the oldies....also need a really good detector...like a Minelab!!!! I don't have one but cannot go out much anyway and to the older neighbors....too dangerous for me!
