SHORT HUNT WITH TEJON

I took my Tejon to the old picnic grove that I have hunted for over 25 years. Ground conditions were much drier than I expected, not easy digging at all.
Temps were high 70's but humid, so I mainly hunted under the canopies of the big oak trees in the grove to try to stay cool.... it didn't work, was sweating like a hooker on dollar day.....
One area of the grove has always been the hot spot for coins, people must have congregated in this area for some reason around 100 years ago.
I have pounded this area with a 1266, several CZ's, my Vaquero and Silver

Nice going with your Tejon. Sounds like it's doing a great job for you.
Looking forward to hearing about your future hunts. HH Gene

thanks for sharing Joe. Seeing results like this is making me think the Tejon wil be my next machine.

Roger, nice pair of V nickels, when I find that elusive 1913, I'll post it up...hehe

Mark, I always thought the Vaquero and Tejon were too much alike to have both.....man was I wrong !
I will keep my V, but my main weapon is gonna be this new Tejon. You can certainly add me to the Badger family !.............HH

Roger

Nice job with the Tejon! You sure got me thinking!
