short hunt with my Vaquero

Took my V to a camp ground at the local lake and found a few coins. I found one silver Rosey, 3 wheats and around three dollars in clad. I had taken my Garrett 1500 to the same spot a couple of weeks ago and found almost the exact coin count. One silver, 3 wheats and 2 or 3 dollars in clad. The only difference was that I dug a lot more trash with the V. I had it set to cherry pick the site but still dug a bunch of smashed beer cans. I could tell it was probably trash but dug it anyway.
I originally bought the V for relic hunting but it has shown it can find about anything. I've had it for about a yr. now and have found 2 gold rings and 7 silver coins and yes, it works great as a relic machine.

Now THAT is exactly what I needed to see!
I gave up my 1500 due to the weight.... And got a Cibola. So glad to see that a Tesoro can do a great job coin shooting.
Thanks very much for posting this kansa54.

And what a great haul for a short hunt!

Nice silver , I am still getting used to the vaq but i can tell deep objects and if they are iron so its working good in the gravel so far still got to get it in the forest, thats where its going to kick some butt

KennyD, the weight of my 1500 was the reason I bought my Vaquero. I can swing my Vaquero twice as long as I could my Garrett. I'm glad I still have my Garrett though, I just don't use it near as much any more. I'm sure you'll enjoy the Cibola......I know your arm will.
