Short hunt with F70 coil on F75.

I was able to get out in the heatwave to a heavily hunted cellar hole that has seen alot of different detectors pass over it. I like to go here because I have a great premission, it's a circa mid-1700's foundation close to home, & I can always come away with something it seems when I bring a different detector out there. It's seen Coinstrikes, T2's, minelabs, Excel, etc........
Last time Mike Scott & I hit it w. T2's and were able to snag a few more colonial buttons, & I wanted to see if there was any more there......
So I decided to attack the site again like this:

Put F70 eliptical/concentric coil on my F75 for depth.....
run motion all metal mode only
sens 80
listen to everything & dig targets above 20.....

With all the iron, around the foundation itself in all the nails that were reading 8 & 9 the DD coil or small coil would have seperated better.....
So, I concentrated on the "yard" and in a few hours was ablt to isolate & flag a few "good" targets that we missed before.
In just a couple hours I walked away with 2 more colonial buttons,& a harness buckle as keepers. A couple ox shoes fooled the ID, but that was OK running so hot.......
I really like this coil for coverage & depth......Makes the F70/F75 a real triple threat coil-wise. I shot some video of the targets mentioned & will try to get them online soon. Just thinking, going back next time with the small white coil along the foundation would be another good test too.....

Now go back and use STAT MODE and HOVER over targets; being motionless makes a big difference.:fisher:

You are able to cut down the signal with being able to retune, and its like a laser.
Did you use a big shovel to just "dig out" a select portion of the hole and get rid of the iron ?
Give it a good shot, and I'll give you one-one brand of Whiskey do you prefer?:bouncy:

I would imagine that has alot to do with the all metal mode itself being one of the best ever......
I have had a hard time getting usted to the stat mode, as old habits are hard to break & there's not really much about it in the manual, but I will try to play with it more.......
