Short hunt today... Finally something to post.

We finally got some cool weather up my way.. been water hunting for the last couple of months to beat the heat.
I went on a short hunt to an old city park today and the very first signal was this buffalo nickel laying right on top of the ground.
I was under some trees and the ground was bare and sloped so I'm guessing erosion exposed this coin.
I got a wheatie nearby and two others in another area of the park.. wasn't expecting much, but wanted to take advantage of the cool weather.
One Penny is dated 1944.. can't tell on the other two yet.
Thanks for looking!

Nice hunt, you were for sure in age zone of some nice silver.

Nice finds, Congrats! The Wheaties have been hiding from me this year! Agree, there should be silver lurking nearby!

Nice finds!! I hope you dedicate more time to this area as it appears there is great potential.

Howdy fwcrawford--

Don't you just love those surface finds? I'm glad that you got out and hunted in the dirt. It's always fun to change the type of hunting sites and you did well. Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!
