Short hunt today...Finally something to post.

We finally got some cool weather up my way.. been water hunting for the last couple of months to beat the heat.
I went on a short hunt to an old city park today and the very first signal was this buffalo nickel laying right on top of the ground.
I was under some trees and the ground was bare and sloped so I'm guessing erosion exposed this coin.
I got a wheatie nearby and two others in another area of the park.. wasn't expecting much, but wanted to take advantage of the cool weather.
One Penny is dated 1944.. can't tell on the other two yet.
Thanks for looking!

Looks like a good hunt if there are wheats then typically there is silver as well. Did the buff have a date? Congrats!!!!!

The date is worn off of the nickel, as usual.
First thing to go from what i’ve found.
I’ve found very few with dates still on them.

Nice finds Felix. I am convinced this park you are hunting has a silver lining in it. Maybe I’ll come down and ”equinize” the area

Felix nice search, 3 wheat pennies and a Buffalo Nickle is my definition of a good hunts. Thanks for shearing.
