I had a few hours to spare after getting a few bins of horse manure for my garden, so I decided to hunt a rural dairy store near my house. The store has some benches and a big lawn that kids play on and bicyclists sit on. Have hunted this several times before, but really hit the clad in a 1.5 hour hunt. I was popping quarters out of the ground on almost every other hit with little trash. I finally got tired and wet home! There were 18 quarters, 19 pennies, 4 nickels, 7 dimes, and a $1 coin. Unfortunately, all were clad. Never thought I would get tired pulling coins from the ground, but I did.

I understand what you felt. Last year I searched a swimming pool area and after about three hours and nearly 100 coins I left. All clad. I was hoping for a piece or two of jewelry but no luck. And there was vey little trash to contend with. Nearly every signal was a coin. I probably will go back next Fall and hope for jewelry.
Anyway, nice finds!

thats great andy

Don't know what detector you use, but whenever my ID icons pop up around quarters on a bunch of hits, my eyes start getting wider. Nice hunt.
