Short Hunt Produces Very Worn Standing Liberty And A Chinese Coin

I was too busy over the weekend to get out and swing  But today I was off from work early because the kids only had a half day of school. So what to do for a couple of hours...Yep go on a hunt for lost treasure. I packed up the kids and we went to an old house that I have hunted before. This place is almost too clean, you can swing for a long time and not even get a break in the threshold. So you get excited to get any signal to dig. It was over an hour before I even dug a penny. It turned around when I got a really nice quarter signal and did the "please let it be silver" talk to myself, and dug my plug. About 3 inches down in the hole was that sweet shine of a silver quarter. It turned out to be a very worn dateless Standing Liberty Quarter! This is only my second one to dig, this one has seen better days but it was awesome to find. A few minutes later I found a Canadian Penny and then I got a really good high tone and signal and was the Chinese coin with a dragon on it and is bigger than a half dollar. I don't know how old it is so any help on an ID would be great. Did not dig a lot of signals but it was great to be out. The kids like it to because I got a deal with them, if we find silver we go out for ice cream. :bouncy:

Ice cream you scream, we all scream for ice cream, when dad sees a sliver of silver in the hole, we holler loud, "to the ice cream store we go"!

Some very find looking finds Dave! Thanks for the pictures.
