I went to a new place on Monday and got permission to detect the place. It's great because the main house was built in 1920 and has an old house about 600 yards behind it that was built in 1880 (1st pic is an old photo of the old house). I went back to the old house first, only to find the grass was about a foot tall. I dug just a few signals that didn't produce much. I am going to go back and thin the grass down so I can get a good hunt in. So right before dark I made my way back up to the main house and in 15 minutes I dug a 1942 Washington! I knew for sure this place is going to be a good one. I also dug 6 Wheats and some clad. I only got to look around for about 30 minutes before it got too dark to hunt. I went back today with about two hours to go over the yard, and it was sad. Not very many signals, got two more Wheats, some clad and the typical trash. The entire front yard is littered with iron and the Etrac can't keep a threshold. I will have to go back over it with my small coil in TTF . I Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and good luck on your next hunt.
