Short hunt of 2/18/15

While working out of town, went out for a couple of hours and found a spot with a lot of deep brass and iron targets. Found the lead boot about a foot deep. Still has a bit of black paint on it. Not sure what it is exactly. Has a hole that goes from heel to boot opening. The tag is all in Spanish. Can't find what FCCM or FCIM stands for.

Interesting to say the least! Thats a nice hunt there Floyd, good to see a deep interesting target pulled..:clapping:
Mud

That tag looks close to a railroad baggage tag I found recently. But I'm sure it's not r.r. Related from what I see. Cool finds. I love digging deep.

I think it's a label for sending a suitcase between different railway companies, possibly a trade deal with different conditions. The text indicates that there is a label with the name of the destination station. Like when you have to take two different aircraft company to reach a destination ...
pretty findings

Thanks Pat and Senda. I was hoping someone would know something about the tag.

Found more info on the tag after Pat gave me a name to search. Ferrocarril Central Mexico was around from 1884 to 1909! Nice old relic.
