short hunt in the rain today

was raining off and on all day BUT it was 50 degrees in january I HAD to get out a bit, so I put on my cover on my x-70 and headed out. I went to my library which has been pounded pretty hard, was hoping for silver or something real old. Last year we found a barber, indians, wheats, buffalo etc there. I chose a small area and gridded it off digging anything repeatable in at least one direction. I got 2 wheats, 16 clad coins, and this dragon head with fake rubies for eyes. No silver...AGAIN........but I had fun anyhow...

Glad you got out , sorry you had to find such an ugly dragon though.

I have never thought dragons were cool. But nice finds know matter what it looks like .

Congrats on the very sweet find! I really like the Dragon! I am a big Fantasy reader and it is right down my alley, Beale.

Dragon head is a cool find, looks like it might be pewter?

Ugly dragon? I have never seen a cute dragon. lol

Probably was fun to dig, would make the hunt more worthwile - something different and all.

Still January
Jeff
