short hunt in tabors field

Got a short hunt in on tabors field, I was hunting in disq , sensitivity 2:30 15 wot coil got a really nice clear smooth high tone and it turned out to be a big copper slug , some time later I got the lead slug and that also made a high tone but had a low dip coming into it i figured it for can slaw but it was a 12gauge slug , I also was hunting in pinpont, and could tell most Iron by the hickup it makes I tried the copper slug in pinpont and it made a smoth round sound , hope to get out again somtime, but the hunters rule the weekend, as deer and turky and duck in on I try to stay out of thear way

Some hunters get out there at the beginning of the season, get into a mode of shoot-first and find out what they shot afterwards. Myself, they would mistake me for a turkey lol

Ha...some hunters also have the dig it all mentality....If it makes a noise, shoot!

Yep those dig-it-all folks usually end up "bagging" some of the best finds. That is why I feel Dr. Gunnar is going to pull some neat objects out of his property. Dr. Gunnar, you are one of the most patient hunters I have ever met - and with this patients you have, I feel you will un-earth some great finds. Jim we have lots of turkys, often you see them in flocks of 30 to 40 so you have lots of frends in MInnesota, I may venture out to a deep woods spot with the vidio sould be intresting

hmmm I had planned to go to a deep woods spot today myself but something came up and has cut into my dirt fishing time. I'll have to go someplace closer. Best of luck on your expedition. --- Q-man
